On another forum, all the people want to be nerds. It would be fun to see here if some people are nerds or not, or which amount.

I have done a funny test for discover if you are a nerd. I'm not, and I didn't anticipate a nerdy result. Here is my result:

I am a low rank nerd. 66. That's probably because it didn't ask me about German board games or niche sci fi authors.

Low is 66? It seems high LOL.

Yes, it must ask about the Sci fi authors I think. Also, the people who know about the programming would get high points: a typical nerd is a computer specialist.

I didn't know about this thing, what can it do?

I scored 72%, and just before looking at this post I was installing OS/2 on and old IBM ThinkPad that I bought on eBay. Hmm.

    GPA? Not everyone is American.
RAM at the current computer? I'm at work, not at my own computer.
No correct answer to Friday night.
No mention of retrogaming (look left!)

EDIT: Also keeps telling me I need to answer all questions when I have done, so no score for me!

I agree that it's silly that they put the GPA when we haven't this system in the other countries, I don't remember what I've answered for this question, probably the middle one because I didn't exams but I wrote an essay for my high school diploma and it wasn't a mainstream school, therefoe impossible to know the GPA's equivalent.

but it's nearly always that the englihs language Internet quizzes are american culture dominated and I wasn't surprised. but yes, it's extremely annoying that the Americans and Canadians think that all the world is the same or know their systems, but it's like this in Europe also, for example each country doesn't know the other one.

It's not intentional though, we're just ignorant. What do you guys use instead of GPA?

I was in the normal school until I was about 14 and there we had exams and you must have at least 100 points I think (total 200). Then in the tests you must have sufficient points with the total 20. Then after one year (later) I had to change the school and my school after was a special school where I didn't exams at all, or yes I think in the first year or second one but then the teachers have decided that I must write an essay, not exams. It's because the exams are so stressful. In my school each person had an individual system, I mean like the exams or essay or not at all. My teachers were little bit fed up with my essay because I've written it in Dutch because I had to find somethings online and my teachers don't understand Dutch, therefoe they've asked a Flemish and fortunately I passed and I've the high school diploma. I was 20 I think and it's old, normally 18, but I had missed so much school when I was ill.

With the high school diploma you can go to the univeristy, I think that each school has its diploma, not a national system like the GPA.
