    Hi,
following an advice from someone on this forum, I decided to hire a translator on upwork.com who could get me the transcript for this tv show. I have never done this before, so I don't know how much it will cost me, but I'm willing to give it a try. I'm waiting for responses right now. In the meantime, I just wanted to make sure first if anyone already had subtitles/transcripts for this show? It'd be pretty ridiculous if I ended up paying for a job that someone already paid for, or maybe the subtitles just exist somewhere, who knows!

Transcripts for that show don't exist on this forum, but I don't know about elsewhere. Good luck with the translator! :)

I'm starting to realize that I under-estimated the price per episode for this kind of job. I read "for a few bucks" somewhere on this forum, and so I thought that I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price per episode. But the first offer I got was 25$ per episode!!! I'm waiting for the answers of 2 other people, but I fear I under-estimated the price range.

Anyway, if it works, I will gladly post the files here.

That's way too much, imo. What I did was to post the job (60 episodes of интерны for example) and ask for bids; the category was "less than $500". This didn't stop some people from bidding higher, but I always got tons of bids, several less than $200. I paid between $130 and $190, depending on the job.

Thanks for you suggestions. I finally got the work done for 5$, for the first episode. Haven't read it yet. I installed "
Learning With Texts" to create the transcripts with english inside the text, but I only succeeded to import the text, but I think I need to import a russian-english dictionary in order for the system to translate the text, becauce the system does not provide the translation in itself, I think, it does not access google translate or something like that. It needs a dictionary, or it needs the user to provider the translation I think. Can someone point to me please the shortest way to create those transcripts? I really enjoyed watching Кухня with those.

I started to watch an american show translated in russian (Friends). But what totally put me off, was that the text didn't match the voice-over in russian. I need those two to match, otherwise you struggle to understand.

So, here's the transcript for the first episode, with interlinear text. Don't try to unzip the file, instead, rename the file mamu1.html, and open it in your browser. You can just print it after that. Sorry for not producing a pdf, it's just easier to do in html for me.
