Hi, The good thing when you catch a cold is that you don't feel guilty of spending hours browsing YouTube So while loosing my time on YouTube I found the chanel Star Media on which the programs (not all, but a good majority) are subtitled in russian and english. The subtitles seem rather accurate, what is said is what is written. Perhaps someone will be interested, I don't know if the programs are of good quality or not, I haven't watched precisely, just browsed rapidly. Star Media
Vladimir Pozner (Владимир Познер) interview every monday on Первый Канал, somebody "famous". You can see this interview on his website (http://pozneronline.ru/category/pozner/) with the video and the transcript (for a mojarity). You also can have access to the audio file of the show on soundcloud. 28 minutes (very good french emission) about him : integral and small presentation.
A video to train your russian pronunciation. The girl is crazy, but it is make the video better. ^^ There are russian and english subtitles
Marine, thank you for the link to the Pozner interviews, these are great for listening practice. However, I watched a few videos but couln't find the transcripts which you were talking about. All I see is a short summary of the interview in text. Do they have full transcripts for only some of the interviews? Where do I find them?
https://www.youtube.com/user/Only4Russian/videos The man offers russian lessons on YT with russian subtitles.
Here is the best russian song of the 2015 year, in my opinion. The song is written in a poem by Marina Tsvetaeva. Here is the poem in Russian: http://www.klassika.ru/stihi/cvetaeva/uzh-skolko-ix.html Here is the poem in English: How many people fell in this abyss, I fathom from afar! There will be time, and I will vanish too From earth's exterior. All will be still, that sang and that did struggle, That glistened and rejoiced: The greenness of my eyes, the gold of my hair, And this my tender voice. Life will continue with its soft hot bread, With day's oblivion. All will continue - under outstretched heavens As if I'd never been! Like children changeable in every mien And angry not for long, Who loved the times when in the fireplace Into ash turned the log, Violin and cavalcade within the forest And in the village, bell... Upon this dear earth - I will be no longer That was alive and real! To all - who are the friends and strangers To never having known the measure, me? I turn to you with this my faith's demand And love's query. Both day and night, in word and letter both: For truth of yes and no, For that though I am but twenty I am So often in such sorrow, For unavoidably my slights and trespasses Will be forgiven me - For all of my impetuous tenderness And look too proud and free - For quickness of events as they come rushing, For truth, for play, say I - Please hear me! But do also please love me For this that I will die.
