    ENGLISH
Yesterday I watched many conferences on YouTube, I chose among TED's videos about language acquisition. I had first subtitles on, but they divert my attention from the audio, so went on without them.

    KOREAN - JAPANESE
This Thursday I'll take a free lesson on Korean in the private school where I studied Japanese four years ago. They offer also Chinese, but I already know the information they can give in the first hour of an absolutely-beginner lesson. What about going on with Japanese? It depends on the cost...

Leído "Las ciudad de las bestias", ahora tengo el segundo volumen que me espera.

    JAPANESE
I can't read my daily page, but I want to keep on track.

    ENGLISH
I read something every day, mostly blog posts.

    KOREAN
I recognise hangul letters and sillables, I can write my name, but I can't get used to the sound of this language. The free lesson I attended was intyeresting, but I am not motivated to take classes.

    CHINESE
I guess if to take Chinese classes could be an option, it can be such an amazing challenge! Courses begin this week, so I haven't enough time to review old material and go on with Japanese (three years ago I followed the lessons of the first two modules).

I haven't updated my log in a month!
I've attended a course from 9 to 6 and I was very tired in the evening, doing nothing but relax in the weekend.

    ESPAÑOL
He leìdo "El reino del Dragon de Oro".

    ENGLISH
I watched 3 episodes of "Attack on Titans" dubbed in English.
I read something everyday on the Internet.

    CHINESE
I've taken 5 classes of Chinese, amazing! The problem with tones seems consisting in the fact that I pronounce the 2nd tone instead of the 4th because my mind makes my mouth do something like "4th goes down... riiiiight?" so 4th become a 2nd, 'cause for me 2nd sounds like a question-tone o_O
I've listened to Chinese music everyday, while commuting.

When dabbling in Chinese, the hard part for me about the tones was the "5th" toneless tone, and the fact that some tones combine to make different things. I seem to recall that 2 3rd tones in a row will change to a falling, then a third. The FSI Chinese core module has satisfying details for this.

I agree - the rules for the 5th tone are really complicated, and rarely studied. Here are the basic rules.

He leído la tercera novela para chicos de la Allende, "El bosque de los Pigmeos". Estamos al final de junio y no he hecho nada más para mejorar en español, y yo quería leer una novela cada mes! Hoy empecé "Como agua para chocolate" de Laura Esquivel.

    汉语
I am in the middle of the second module of lessons. The more I learn new words, the more things become interesting. I was bored of 我是学生!I am learning Memrise's "ChinesePod 1000 words". Sometimes I chat with Chinese people with the app HelloTalk.
