I've liked that some of "Кухня" characters appeared in 4th episode here. Since both of these TV shows were made by the same people, I guess it'd be logical to assume that we'll see more of references like this in next episodes. Also, the hotel where American expat is living is the same hotel named "Eleon" from "Кухня" 5th season. They even plan to make a spin-off about this hotel I didn't like that american expat (as well as Russia's environment) was displayed in some stereotypical way here, plus I feel there's not enough of charismatic and interesting characters compared to "Кухня". It has a potential though, it's still a good TV show to check, judging by first 4 episodes.
What i like about this serial is that you can learn also about Russian culture while watching it. Somebody knows where i could find the subtitles in Russian for как я стал русским? Or how much it would cost me if i would ask somebody to do a russian trancript? Thank you
You can hire someone to do it here. I put jobs out for bid, and have received bids of less that $200 for 60 episodes of Интерны, for example.
aha, 200 dollars for Russian transcripts i guess. I wonder how much would it cost to have subtitles + translation. They have some slang words , which are almost impossible to find on dictionarys.
by the way, found this Russian web with all kinds of subtiles. They still dont have kak ya stal russkim, but they have subtitles for many other serials, for example кухня http://dxp.ru/torrent-36604-kuhnya_4_sezon_1-20_serii_iz_20_2014_web-dlrip_mul_tirazdacha I hope can be useful.
