Hi everyone. I am Alessandra. I am 35 years old and my native language is Italian. French was my first foreign language at school, then I studied English. At university I attended Spanish and Danish "Language and literature" courses and I learned some basic of Romanian. My last experience was a beginner course of Japanese. Now I want to learn Russian. I am starting with "как дела?" a book for beginner in my language, and I am trying to focus my attention on the first and the last chapter about pronunciation and phonology in order to avoid mispronunciation of words in this early stage. My weak point has always been the spoken skill, maybe because I tend to be a shy person and I prefer books over people. I want to share my progress to keep me motivated. Thanks for your attention
Welcome to the forum! There are several Russian learners here, including my self, so I hope we can share useful information with you. That's a really cute dog too
Welcome Shandra! There are several Russian learners on this forum - and I'm thinking that I might jump into that lake in the next few years.
Hello shandra welcome and your avatar is cute. Is the picture a real dog or a soft toy? Italian is a beautiful and elegant language.
Thanks you all, you make me feel welcome, really He is Shunsuke, a Japanese Pomeranian. I was about to load the photo of my big smiling face, but a cute puppy (so かわいい!) seems more appropriate because I'd like to be a polydog
