In the off chance someone here hasn't seen a Stuart Jay Raj video, this is your lucky day, Don't know about you, but he is better than caffeine at getting me motivated this morning.
I don't care to watch 1/2 hour vids of polyglots usually, but I have read about how he learns languages. Unlike some so-called polyglots he seems to regard learning 3000 words as just a firm basis on which to continue learning a language, and which he tries to learn in the first couple weeks, rather than calling that level "fluent" and moving on to another language. Even if someone only wants to learn 10 words a day thereafter, which means it would take 3-4 years to get enough vocab to hit the lexical threshold for reading (15K words), that initial spurt of vocabulary learning really gives a huge jumpstart for a language.
