    I was trying to insert an html table with the html code option with the following:

    HTML:
    <TABLE>
    <TR>
    <TD> 1 2 3</TD></TR>
    <TR><TD>4 5 6</TD></TR>
    </TABLE>
    I tried all square brackets and both [] and <> with lowercase as well, but can't get a table to appear. Maybe I made a mistake above though.

    Alternately, there appears to be an addon, given below, for this forum's software. It seems to have both a free and "branded" version. I am not sure if "branding" means pushing adds to the site or just advertising who wrote the code.

    Any way to get a table to work one way or the other?

    One of the xenforo programmers made an add-on that does the same thing. I installed it, but didn't realize I needed a later version of the forum software too. So I panicked, and decided to just stick with screen shots. Why did I panic? Because last time I tried to update this forum software, it didn't work, and we were down for about 3 days, due to me being inexperienced and host support being weak.

    I know that the add-on you mention is compatible, but I think I need to try to upgrade to the latest version of xf and use the other program. Let me think about this for a while. In the mean time, the work around is screen shots.

    Thanks for the response. Re your inexperience in upgrading, only one way to solve it, and better now than in the future when the forum is a lot bigger :).

    Ok, I think I have successfully installed the new add-on, but don't know how to make a table with it. I tried your code, but that didn't work. I have a ticket in on it.

    Sorry to say, but I'm not able to resolve this. It's possible that I'll be able to fix it in the future, but no promises. Looks like screen shots are us.

    Thanks for the effort. I guess this is a conscious business model for some developers, where they let 3rd parties write plugins and never implement them into the software themselves, so that they don't have to service the customers with same. Not a real biggie though. Thanks again for trying.

    You bet. Yeah, it's unfortunate how many times I've been told "sorry, but you are out of the range of what we support", but I'm getting used to it.
