As I said in my member intro thread I didn't come here to bash HTLAL, but as you said when someone else brings up the topic, it's hard not to chip in. Theoretically, such criticism in a place where it cannot be prevented or deleted might help spur HTLAL on to address various issues. But the only person who really matters there, Michel, isn't listening on HTLAL let alone here or elsewhere, so there is no reason to think such criticism might be helpful in that regard (and of course this comes across as implicit criticism too ). BTW, one of the things I like most about polydog is that it isn't instead polycat. While cats are OK, they mostly do what they want, and they aren't likely to ever save you from danger like a dog might. Cats would look on disinterested as you succumbed to a danger and then go look for someone else to feed and pet them.
I suspect you've seen this, and while most cats aren't likely to do this kind of thing, this particular feline's behavior is rather refreshing
exception that proves the rule dog that you've treated reasonably well = over 90% chance of trying to help you (assuming it senses what is going on which accounts for the other 10%) cat that you've utterly pampered = less than 2% chance of trying to help you even if it is sure what is going on, let alone caring what happens to you other than where its next meal and tummy rub are coming from
Before, I had fear of dogs, but now I havnet because I love my dog so much. But I only like certain dogs, the furry ones with cute faces, I hate the vicious ones. My favourites are the poodles, but not with the silly pom poms.
