I have turned on the new nested post add-on, but am a little disappointed that we have to refresh and push the "read more" button to see the full nested quote. Also, it only goes 3 levels deep; I thought it would be limited only by the length of the page. The avatars are nice though.

The option that was active yesterday only goes 1 level deep, but no refresh is needed.

    Which do you prefer?

I don't like the 3 levels deep config, because I sometimes have trouble reading certain quotes. I'm turning off the add-on for the time being.

I generally just manually add tags when I break up someone's post to reply to in parts. I wonder whether the background color of the quoted text can be changed to make nested quotes stand out a little better (probably all should be light pastels or something).

I just had a frustrating few minutes trying to edit my most recent post in the Anki exit strategy thread re my last nested quote there. The inner end quote tag kept not working, and a second end quote tag kept getting added to the end of the whole thing even after deleting it repeatedly. Finally I figured out that the inner quote being in italic carried over to the end quote tag that I added after it and was not being rendered properly until I made sure the tag itself was not in italic.

    Thanks for the tip.
