Here you can explain and present your avatars
Iversen, here is your avatar:
Mine is the rabbit from "Alice In Wonderland", looking at his watch. I chose it mostly just because I have always liked the story. I guess it sort of fits me as well because I often feel pressed for time.
Where was your onion head little guy from ?
One of the "Alice In Wonderland" films.
The onion head was classic. Well, I like dogs, and I used to have a husky, so I was happy to find this avatar. I sometimes get the little dog's nose mixed up with the big dog's eye though.
Well, I think the cheetahs should stay at HTLAL. Here I'll use a picture of myself in a boat on the Ton Le Sap lake in Cambodia (not far from Siem Reap, Angkor Wat and all that stuff).
My avatar is an aurora (= northern light) fotographed on Spitsbergen (= Svalbard in Norwegian).
A little wild ass is nice for an avatar, you think ?
Me too, it look like the eye haha.
The cheetahs are great, but your new avatar is ok too It seems an exotic location.
My avatar is Jar-Ptitsa in English the Firebird (Phoenix).
Yes. Are the striped legs photoshopped?
If they are, Wikipedia Has A Problem..
I think that the animal is a zonkey
Baby zonkey video
Mine is a calavera/sugar skull, a tradition that springs from Mexico's Day of the Dead in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saint’s/Soul's Days. The Day of the Dead is a celebration of the lives of departed friends and relatives, rather than a gloomy mourning, and the decorated sugar skulls placed on the graves and altars symbolize death in a positive manner. Supposedly skulls symbolized both death and rebirth for the Aztecs and the flowers and bright colors typically decorating the skulls symbolize life. There are also calavera satirical poems and drawings that are a safe way to make fun of people, such as politicians and other people in power.
It looks a bit like a zonkey, but he or she actually is a wild ass,
and a double entendre in waiting...
Ok, ok, I'll take the bait. biTsar, that's nothing but a wild-ass guess.
Nothing fancy, just me at Hardangervidda, Norway.
My avatar is the only known picture of Josquin Desprez, the guy who also was the inspiration for my nickname. He was a composer and lived at the beginning of the 16th century.
Prior to your explanation I would have said you look like a Norwegian fisherman.
Bonus geek points to anyone who recognises the new avatar.
