This TV series is so amazing and i believe it will help my Russian become better . Thank you so much for those transcript files
I've downloaded the Kuhnja_episode15.srt file. As it is, I can't read it in VLC, I see latin characters. If you have the same problem, follow the instructions: Download the little program cyrcon and run it: copy/paste the text of the subtitles, convert the text and save it in UTF-8 format: title_of_your_choice.srt And it works, the subtitles are in cyrillic, and not in latin characters in VLC. HTH.
No, I didn't see the message. It's also working. I'll stick to my method, as there are several users on my computer, when I change something in the settings, it's generally a mini-drama
Russian Subtitles for Episode 16 ! If you use it with VLC don't forget to change your "encodage" : Outils (Tools ?) / Preference / soustitre OSD / encodage par default / cyrillique
Jason I don't know if you are still looking for a way to add 2 subtitles to a screen, but the kmplayer works well for me, and you don't have to be tech savvy the UI is pretty friendly
Russian Subtitles for Episode 17 ! If you use it with VLC don't forget to change your "encodage" : Outils (Tools ?) / Preference / soustitre OSD / encodage par default / cyrillique
marine i assume you use notepad to make these subtitles, when you do can you set the encoding of the text file to UNICODE or UTF and not ANSI, otherwise one has to resort to 3rd party software(hello keyloggers) to use the subtitles благодарю вам для субтитры! P.S i only used the subs for ep 14 so far, maybe you fixed this in the laters eps, so if so i apologise
Hi Eragon I do my subtitles with "Subtitle Workshop", the format is .srt (SubRip) and the encodage is Cyrillique (Windows). If you use it with VLC, you have to change the OSD options and I assume it is the same for the other players. If you prefer an other encodage, open the file .srt with Word and use "export" to change the format in ".txt" and the encodage in "what you prefer". I hope this informations will help you.
I found those series dubbed in Georgian, so, as much as my Russian needs improvement and I'd be using authentic language material, I'm planning on using the series for Georgian with the English translations. Interlinear would work, too - I could do Georgian-Russian and only check English when necessary, but for a fresh start I am going to use the English-only series, it is already a lot of trouble to have the browser window and the notepad window opened simultaneously.
Russian Subtitles for Episode 18 ! The format's subtitle is .srt (SubRip) and the encodage is Cyrillique (Windows). If you use it with VLC don't forget to change your "encodage" : Outils (Tools ?) / Preference / soustitre OSD / encodage par default / cyrillique
guys anyone know the names of the English songs used in Кухня, really wanna know. заранее спасибо(merci d'avance)
@Эрагон, here some of the English songs that you can here in Кухня OK Go - Here It Goes Again Alma Cogan- Hello Baby Yma Sumac - Gopher Mambo The Cat Empire-The lost song THE SHIFFERS - "Body Down" Audio Bullys - Only Man Groovefinder Vs Nina Simone - Ain't Got No (I Got Life) April Stevens - Teach Me Tiger Aron Wright - In the Woods
I downloaded some of the SRT files and was able to add subtitles to a few of the Кухня episodes, but unfortunately the subtitles aren't synced with the video. It seems that the subtitles show on the screen about 5 seconds before the actors actually say them. Does anyone know how to fix that? Большое спасибо заранее!
